New Windscreen Repair Standards
The new windscreen repair standard BS au 242b:2022 has been in the making for over two years with a few hurdles to jump along the way. The BSI standards dated 1994 and 1998 were outdated and reflected old methods and practices which were not fit for purpose on todays modern vehicles. From 1998 to 2022 we hope that before too long something may develop so that the windscreen industry can move forward from the 1990's and reflect todays technologies.
