Whilst this picture is most definitely a damage that is not repairable some cracks and chips are more marginal. A repair may be achievable but as a BSI 2021 compliant repair technician other factors may come in to play. This includes ADAS cameras and drivers vision. Sometime you just have to walk away from a chip if its sited in a zone on a windscreen where vehicle manufacturers deem it un safe to repair. At GT we will train you how to repair a damaged windscreen but just as importantly train you WHEN NOT TO carry out a windscreen repair. Each scenario is as important as the other.
